Outing information for Campouts-

Troop 5 has an active camping schedule nearly every month, all year.  Each family will be given a calendar with all the campout dates and locations or you can check the Calendar on this web site.  Campout sign-up sheets are available at least 2 weeks prior to the campout weekend.  Scouts and leaders who want to go to that campout need to sign the campout sheet.  The last night to sign up is the Monday before the campout weekend.  After that meeting our transportation coordinator will determine how many seat belts are needed and arrange drivers.

One question we get is "what does my son need to bring to a campout?"

We have different types of campouts and the equipment needed is determined by the type of campout.  Click on the links below to see the suggested equipment guidelines.  Equipment is transported in our troop trailer and assorted vehicles.
